Coastal Coffee House: A Charming Family-Run Cafe in Langley, BC

Made a few visits while staying at hotel nearby. Lovely family run place. You can tell they have many regulars. Cozy vibe by the fireplace. Gigantic mugs of coffee! I enjoyed breakfast bagel and carrot cake. Husband loved the chorizo wrap. If like me you’re looking for a local place to support vs the bigger chains, this is it.

I went in for the first time yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised! I was looking for a place to get a warm drink and to get out of the rain. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a friendly welcome and I felt instantly welcomed. I asked the woman working behind the counter to suggest a good warm drink and she recommended their chai latte. And it was delicious! I also had a lemon square and a breakfast wrap and they were both very tasty too! It was a little bit more expensive than I was expecting to pay, but it was worth it! I enjoyed the whole experience and everything that I tried too! It was all very delicious and I don’t have a single bad thing to say about it. I would definitely recommend it to anyone and everyone!

While I was standing in line, a customer join the line behind me and the own ers immediately knew who she was and started her regular. I didn't think places like this existed anymore From that observation alone, I could see why this place that has such a great reputation. Great coffee! Great service!

Went to this local cafe with my wife early Friday. I quickly noticed the friendless of the staff - later I came to know they were actually the owners -. A very lovely couple with a pleasant personality. They bring your food/drink to the table and serve you as if you were a guest in their own house, which is untypical of a cafe environment. Delicious coffee and very reasonable prices.

We stumbled upon this charming Langley coffee shop while in town, and it instantly became the highlight of our trip. Their iced chai tea is hands-down the best I’ve ever tasted—perfectly spiced and creamy. Every pastry in the case is also melt-in-your-mouth fresh. The Mango Madness Frio was impossibly refreshing! What truly sets this place apart, though, are the owners: the kindest couple you could hope to meet, greeting every guest like family and remembering our orders after just one visit. It truly did not feel like it was the first time we met them. My cousins and I loved the cafe so much that we came back every single day for the rest of our trip. If they ever open a location out east, we’ll be first in line! It was absolutely the best coffee shop we have ever been to worldwide!!

Wonderful place. So welcoming. Staff are incredibly friendly and go above and beyond to make you happy with your order.

Wow! What a wonderful find on a rainy winter morning! We enjoyed an excellent Americano and (decaf but still excellent) latte, along with a fresh and yummy bacon breakfast wrap. This must be a fave among the locals too as many dropped by during our time and the baristas knew them well enough to start their drinks as they came through the door. The staff came around to check in on whether we were enjoying our order - a nice touch in the Big City. We’ll be back!

Always a nice spot to people watch and relax. Great staff who make me feel welcome and like a friend. Good food with fresh ingredients and made in house. Pastries are delicious, I'm partial to the massive scones and cinnamon buns when they're available. Not everything is to my taste but that's why there's a variety. Including a few Gluten Free options. Excellent espresso, not acidic at all and a nice smooth, creamy taste with an almost almond like end. And with a flavoured syrup it the perfect amount of sweet.
